Funco was involved in the concept development of Mangrove Park, a unique self-contained educational, nature and leisure destination located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Our team worked tirelessly to create an experience that enhances awareness, appreciation and understanding of the important ecological function of mangrove habitats that protect the Abu Dhabi Coastline and support biodiversity.

Our aim was to design structures that respected the nature around them and did not disrupt the naturally present aesthetics. The attractions at the park include a nature-inspired play area for kids, a designated area for indoor and outdoor activities, and an immersive theatre with a 360-degree theatre experience.

In line with our commitment to experiential and interactive learning techniques, Funco developed a learning center within the existing Mangrove Park that takes a more holistic approach to learning about mangroves and related aspects. The center offers visitors an opportunity to engage in experiential and interactive learning techniques, giving them a deeper understanding and appreciation of the importance of these vital ecosystems.
